BLACK HISTORY.....FOREVER!

BLACK HISTORY is the study of the experiences, achievements, and contributions of people of African descent. It's a vital part of world history and cultural heritage. It helps us understand the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the world. It also helps understand the challenges that African Americans have faced, and continue to face, in the United State. It helps us celebrate the significant contributions of African Americans to science, art, music, business and politics. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is a great Black History Icon. He is also know as the Black History King! 

Black History acknowledges the often overlooked accomplishments of Black individuals in various fields like science, politics, arts, and activism. B learning about the experiences of Black people throughout history, individuals can be motivated to work towards social justice and equality.

Who Are We?

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed Man of the dust and the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or Life: and man became a living soul!

But in the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth!

 

 

After God created the earth and All that is in it, he created us. He gave all the things in the earth to man for him to name and for him to be in control of; to Dominate. 

Genesis 1:28 And god blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea. and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 

That is who we are! We were created to be in control of this earth therefore, we have Authority, Power and Control. But after Satan was kicked out of heaven he took control of the earth and deceived man to no longer trust God which brought about sin.

God created us and formed us in His image to control and dominate the earth just as he does in Heaven. We are the small gods of this EARTH!

Our minds are spiritual gatekeepers of what comes in and what goes out of our lives. When our mind is renewed according to God's Word, we become in perfect alignment with God to prove His will on the earth. Our minds are a gate to the spirit realm that has the power to transform us. Transformation power is coming your way! When you renew your mind with God's Word you have been given a weapon of Power! God's Word is a playbook that brings judgement on your enemies and a victory song to your heart. You have been given the Word of God! His Word is not just a book of meaningless words on a page, but a book of power that carries weight. It awakens us to destiny and presses us into purpose. Renew Your Mind with the Word of God! ........It will work if you work it!

MIND RENEWAL: To begin the journey to working on your mind, you must start by the renewing of your mind. For me, I began reading the Bible, which at first really did nothing for me. I was reading yet had no true understanding. Therefore, I began listening to Pastors teach the word of God, which was very different from I was used to. I was brought up going to church and hearing the Preacher read a verse in the Bible and then speak on that subject until he got into a rhythm and then the piano would get in tune with him as he got louder and almost the whole congregation was shouting, crying and falling out. We would repeat that action Sunday after Sunday. Never being taught how to read the word of God and apply it my life and circumstances. For me that is the difference in a Preacher and a Teacher. Once I began to be taught the word of God I was able to began renewing my mind. I realized I had to change the people I hung around, the things I listened to and to grow in my faith by trusting in God alone to see me through any and all challenges. But the most important thing was the words I spoke out of my mouth! It was very hard to control the negative stuff coming out of my mouth because I spent most of my life complaining and talking about what I don't have and what I can't do. It took a lot of discipline to control my tongue and watch the words I spoke. It's like if I continue to do and think the same things I will always have the same outcome in my life.

Note:  The key to finding true freedom and walking in our purpose is to renew our minds with God's Word!  Renewing your mind according to Romans 12:2 means interpreting life through the lens of God's Word and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, rather than through the lens of your experience, woundedness, trauma, preferences, or the opinions of others.

Wisdom

Wisdom is often confused with knowledge, but there's a big difference. Knowledge involves the accumulation of facts. Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge to achieve the best outcome. Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, not a vegetable. Wisdom is knowing not to put a tomato in a fruit salad lol. In order to protect our minds from deception and confusion, we need the wisdom dispensed by God. And....its free!

When we pray, all we need to do is ask that He will give us wisdom and insight in every area of our lives. Now we must be sincere and consistent when we ask, use our faith to believe that he will provide, and wait for it to come to pass. I have found that many people don't have the patience to wait for God to work in their lives. Therefore, they get discouraged and go back to trying to fix it on their own. In Scripture, wisdom refers to knowing the course of action that will please God and make our lives what He wants them to be. Wisdom is acquired through our efforts to learn, grow, improve, and study God's word. It's not automatic, and it's not instantaneous.

God promises wisdom, He promises a way of life superior to the way of the world!
